This workshop is for technology-focused businesses, with 2 or more year’s experience, who are seeking to grow or expand their Federal contracting business. Attendees will learn: market entry approaches, steps to successful contract awards, ways differentiate your company form competitors, how to present your capabilities to government and prime contractor personnel.
The workshop is led by Mr. Ralph Blakeney,Technology Industry Manager at the Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and former Technology Procurement Consultant for the Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP). He is a certified by the ASBDC as a technology consultant and specializes in providing Management and Technical Assistance to early stage advance-technology firms and procurement and business development support to technology companies that offer their products and services to federal, state and local governments. Ralph holds an Advanced Certificate in Electronic Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a Master of Science degree in Management, is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s “Management of Service Operations” and a graduate of the Pacific Institute of Business and Management Development.
