Intuit is awarding over $1 Million in Intuit Small Business Grants through the Love a Local Business Initiative. Intuit has been providing small business grants in amounts varying from $500 – $25,000 until March 2012.

Small business owners can nominate themselves and then encourage customers, friends, and family to vote on them daily until the deadline, which is January 31, 2012 for this month.

In September 2011, Bowie Home Improvement a full-service home improvement contractor, specializing in bathroom and kitchen remodels won a $25,000 grant.

The Love A Local Business competition lets fans, including customers, vendors, employees, and the community, determine who deserves some love – in the form of small business grants.

1st step: vote for your business.
